Learn how to do your design and marketing yourself

... our recommended online learning resources

If you’d like to learn how to do your design and marketing yourself, I recommend the following four online learning libraries.

1

SKILLSHARE: www.skillshare.com

COST: Some free classes or access all classes for approximately £9 per month
Over 18 thousand classes in design, business, tech, marketing and more. I recommend trying some of the free classes to see if you like this learning library.

2

Lynda.com: www.lynda.com

COST: 30-day free trial then approximately £19 per month
Thousands of in-depth video courses including many on design and marketing. I recommend signing up for the free trial to see if you like this library.

3

DM Lab: www.digitalmarketer.com

Some free digital marketing articles.
COST: Approximately £30 per month
Membership of the lab gives you access to lots of online marketing training videos and documents. I only recommend signing up for this learning resource if you are sure that you want to invest considerable time in learning how to do your own advanced online marketing.

4

Female Entrepreneurs Association (FEA) membership: mc.femaleentrepreneurassociation.com

COST: Approximately £34 per month
Design and marketing training on topics like Facebook Ads, Branding, Instagram, podcasting and list building. This resource contains fewer training courses than the other learning resources. It also includes a community which encourages connection and sharing. FEA membership is aimed primarily at beginners. There is no long-term commitment so I recommend signing up for one month to see if you like this learning resource and community.

Do you need to sign-up for all four of these learning libraries?

I recommend signing up to all four learning resources just to try them out. Find out which ones work best for you, then cancel the others. They all have a different feel about them. Some are in-depth and complicated whereas others are simplified, presenting the essentials to beginners. Personally I love them all 🙂
